For a long time, I yearned to be chosen, seen, and cherished. I thought that feeling was something I could only find in the pages of romance novels. Then I started writing my own love stories. Somewhere along the way, I realized that women deserved to feel that cherished in their own lives, too.

That’s why I created the Sweetheart Chapter.

I’m not here to teach how to be productive or to hustle harder. I’m here to remind you that you’re allowed to rest. That you aren’t too much. And that you deserve to be seen by me, your family, or friends, and most of all, by yourself.

It’s not a book club, but a homecoming. Inside the college, you’ll get to choose a major, attend monthly workshops, receive exclusive content, and connect with sisters on The Yard. Also, you’ll receive daily inspirational voice notes, because you deserve to be seen before you pour into others.

Great question! And honestly…this is when the community will be the most magical. Before the book exist, you’ll:

  • Meet heroines before the world knows their names through mood boards, playlists, and character sketches.
  • Vote on character names, tropes, or even the heroines characteristic traits.
  • Receive deleted scenes and alternate endings that willl never be published.
  • See cover reveals, blurb drafts, and pre-order links before anyone else.
  • Have your name in the acknowledgments of my debut novel (founding members).

You’re not just waiting the f for the book release. You’re helping to draft it!

The Sweetheart Chapter is designed to fit into a real, busy life. Here’s what you can expect:

Yes, absolutely! The Sweetheart Chapter was created for romance readers, not writers. You don’t need to know anything about plotting, outlining, publishing, or grammar. You just need to love stories where Black women are yearned for, chosen, and adored.

Of course! Your degree is yours to design. If you start in The Cherished Ones, then later decide you want to peek behind the writing desk in the Ink-Stained Heart, just send me a message (the Dean). I’ll move you. No paperwork, no judgment. You can even take multiple majors over time , though you’ll only be in one private channel at a time to keep things focused.

You can cancel your tuition with the Sweetheart Chapter at anytime. There’s no hidden fees, no long-term contracts. If you cancel, you’ll lose access to the community at the end of your current billing cycle. We believe you deserve to be in a space that fills your cup. but if this doesn’t work for you, we totally understand that you need to bow out.
